Project Description

Every year, Skateistan makes a plea to its global audience – to give generously so they can continue to provide at-risk youth with skateboarding and education programs

While working as Creative Director at Skateistan, I pitched a campaign concept to long-time supporter and global advisory board member, Tony Hawk. Working closely with Amsterdam agency, Provoke, and Tony’s own 900 Films, we produced a hero asset which would inspire unprecedented support for the cause, with the Birdman himself acting as a teacher passing on Skateistan’s message. The campaign was shared across social media, and raised just under $1-million for girls and boys in the most challenging circumstances. The second most successful campaign of Skateistan’s 20 years in the game.
