“We’re on a mission to become a circular coffee brand in every aspect of our field”

Project Description

Lot Sixty-One wanted to release a debut print magazine, geared towards introducing new products, telling stories of their coffees and platforming creatives in Amsterdam

I was brought on board as an expert in cultural and subcultural storytelling and editorial direction for print and digital publications. Working with photographer and designer Julian, I created interviews, wrote and edited stories and oversaw the editorial development from conception to distribution.

Included within the debut issue of the magazine were Origin Stories, unpacking the approach and ethos of farmers in Lot Sixty-One’s roster; product features for new innovations at the hands of Lot Sixty-One’s in-house team; and local creative highlights, which told the stories of Amsterdam-based activists and artists driving innovation in their local scenes too.
