“I’m Shepard Fairey from Obey, and skateboarding changed my life”
Project Description
In aid of Skateistan’s annual fundraising, I pitched, negotiated and crafted a collaboration with streetwear brand Obey – a collection of T-shirts, featuring Skateistan creative assets, as well as a bespoke mural made by street-art legend, Shepard Fairey
The collection was launched in April 2026, with a hero film featuring Shepard Fairey discussing his inspiration and process behind the mural, inspired by portraits of real Skateistan students created during my time at the non-profit.
